I urge you all to critically evaluate and develop your own position on matters of importance, but do so without missing or taking attention away from overarching messages.  We can only stand to gain from increased awareness, and ultimately that is what has been achieved with the movement against Joseph Kony. Let’s not lose sight of how valuable that is to the human lives directly affected.  It seems to me that critics have become detached from the idea that as this Kony debate churns, people are dying, and two days ago too few people were aware. Now that has changed, so let’s move forward with that knowledge toward considerations of varying action paths.
